Welcome to The Talking Horse Equine Rescue

The Talking Horse Equine Rescue is located near the small villages of Hagar and Warren, amidst the lush green fields and the wilderness of Northern Ontario, right between Sudbury and North Bay. Created to save horses and ponies from slaughter, we accept horses and ponies of all ages, sound or lame.

Occasionaly we get horses who are more than capable to be trained and/or ridden, we have companion horses as well, who can not be ridden anymore due to soundness issues or simply old age. Many times older horses can teach a younger horse the ropes, and better manners. Stop the horse slaughter, adopt a rescue! See our Horses available for adoption link to view the horses.

Horse trailering is available. We can arrange for the trailering, the cost is the responsibility of the buyer/leaser.

Ofcourse we'll be very appreciative with donated quality hay, horse-blankets,etc. If you'd like to have more information about sending your horse to our rescue, please contact Deborah at deborah@thetalkinghorse.ca
